Vaccine side effects were different for me this time round. Last time I got an aching arm and felt a bit rough for 48 hours. This time my arm doesn’t hurt at all, and I’ve just felt a little fatigued the day after. Sleep and tea has helped a lot, and I’m feeling like I should be able to function fine tomorrow.
I was also very impressed with now well organised the process was this time. Regular reminders by text message, no queue to get in, and I was away from home a grand total of 20 minutes (including the bike ride to get there).
In two weeks time I will be as protected as I can be. That may be around the time the restrictions lift in the UK, but I am not quite seeing that scenario yet. If nothing else it will be in time for my birthday.
